  No problem!  So long as space is still available in class we will prorate the class for remaining balance of class, please call to register!  Each student works independently, many times working on different projects and mediums, so you haven't missed anything except getting started!

HIGH FOCUS PAINTING 
                with Artist Cheryl Griesbach 
Monday 9:30 - 12:00 pm (2 ½ hrs.)  February 22nd-April 26th
Tues 7:00 - 9:00pm 2 hours February 23rd-April 27th
Saturday 10am-12:30pm (2 1/2 hrs)  February 27- May 1st

Acrylic painting: Fast, fluid, fixable and forgiving. Oil painting mediums that dry paints quickly. From beginners to advanced students, this class will explore methods used to produce images of dazzling beauty. Acrylics now compete with oils in terms of the range of colors and transparent glazing colors. Similar techniques apply to both oils and acrylics. This course will teach a specific foolproof method and easy to master techniques. Learn to understand your paints and what they can do. Use of color charts, brushes and other material will be discussed with class demonstrations. Free prints for a 16X20 art panel will be provided. These prints are based on scans from still-life paintings, botanicals, landscapes, and variety of subject matter. Students are also free to provide their own photographs for reference.

​OIL PAINTING TECHNIQUES or DRAWING TECHNIQUES
WITH PROFESSIONAL ARTIST SCOTT NICKERSON
4 Times available:
Tuesday 9:30am - 12pm (2 ½ hrs) February 23rd-April 27th or Tuesday 1pm - 3pm
​Wednesday 1pm - 3pm February 24th-April 28th
Thursday 7pm-9pm February 25th-April 29th

Students of all levels are welcome!
OILS- Learn step by step classic oil painting techniques used by the great masters. Still Life, Landscape, Trompe l’oeil and portrait can all be explored in this class. Students may work from photo reference or create their own still life setups.
DRAWING- join our techniques class for drawing in the medium of your choice. Cast heads are available to work from in charcoal, graphite, pastel/colored pencils. You will be walked step-by-step through the process of direct drawing. Will cover value, contrast, and edges. Work each week to build a completed rendering.

COMIC/ILLUSTRATION TECHNIQUES WITH ARTIST/ILLUSTRATOR SEAN PRYOR
   Wednesday 4pm - 6pm   February 24- April 28th
Students will learn the fundamentals of anatomy, perspective, light sourcing, and color theory while also learning how to write a story using sequential narrative in order to make a clearly read and entertaining comic.
For ages 10 & up 
10 week 2 hour course $295
