Pastel is perhaps one of the most versatile and expressive mediums available.
This workshop will focus on several pastel applications. Under painting, color blocking and layering of colors to achieve balance and simplicity in the values and colors of spring flowers.
Working from photographs, simplification of the subject will be encouraged. Exploration of hard and soft pastels will be discussed.
Demonstrations and class critiques will round out this informative workshop.
