The workshop is designed with lecture, teacher demos and lots of individual attention.
This is a formula for a very successful workshop.
In lecture we will cover topics crucial to achieving paintings that create "Magical look" of light we all want in our work.
Values, Edges, Atmosphere & Brushwork along with the importance of Color Temperature & Composition will all be covered.
We will discuss the Prism of Light and how it relates and affects the landscape planes & other important skills required creating dynamic light effects will be explored.
Painting "Plein Air" can be frustration and painting from photos can be misleading, we will also go over these topics....This workshop is great for someone starting out or the painter who wants to take their work to the next level.

Mark will be working in oils but acrylics are welcome too.

Materials are not supplied with workshop, Colorest will email suggested materials. Some class lists may be substituted for materials you may already have. We're happy to discuss those possibilities with you.
