Art for the Budding Naturalist Program for Home School Afternoon Session
Mondays 1pm - 3:30 Sept 16 - Nov 18 Afternoon Session Ages 8 -12
These nature-themed art classes will foster an enthusiasm and sense of wonder for the natural world while building observational skills and confidence using a variety of media. Art-making processes include drawing, watercolor painting, scratchboard, Mixed Media and hand building . While developing foundational skills in the arts, we will look to insects, the seasons, fluorescent rocks, fossils, flora and fauna for inspiration. Your child will always have something exciting to share after class. Led by art and special educator, Jenny Santa Maria, with resources and materials on loan from Insectropolis, in Toms River and Jenkinson's Aquarium in Point Pleasant Beach.
10 week 2 1/2 hour course $390.00 plus materials
Materials not included, please inquire prior to class of material list needed. Colorest students receive a 20% discount on materials where applicable.

Any class cancellation will result in class extension.
