Gina Torello
Gina Torello is an accomplished, professional artist with more than 30 years of teaching experience in higher fine arts education. She earned her M.F.A. with a concentration in painting from the Dominican University in Florence, Italy, where she trained with renowned international instructors. Gina specializes in oil painting and pastels, focusing on a blend of impressionism and realism. Her subject matter is primarily nature-based with a heavy concentration in landscapes and seascapes. Gina’s work has been prominently featured in galleries, exhibitions, and art shows in the U.S. and abroad. Gina’s career is centered on the intersection of fine art and education. During her professorships at Monmouth University, Brookdale Community College, and Fortman Studios in Florence, Gina built a solid track record in teaching fine art studio courses and developed a deep commitment to all her students to find their passions, voices, and creative styles. Gina continually seeks to provide students with a broad range of educational opportunities by designing her own contemporary fine art courses, orchestrating study abroad experiences, and incorporating structured classical studio courses of all ages and skill levels.
