Cartooning and Comic Techniques
- Sean Pryor is a cartoonist/illustrator and a School of Visual Arts graduate. Pryor has contributed numerous illustrations to both Revolver and Royal Flush magazine, as well as several comic stories for Harvey Pekar’s webcomic series The Pekar Project.
From Sean Pryor- I’ve been on this Earth for a little over twenty-eight years, and my time spent here has been nothing short of confusing and awe-inspiring simultaneously. A lot of what has taken place I cannot faithfully describe with words, but they have driven me with an obsessive passion (or compulsion) to make art. Most of the time it’s comics, or illustrations, or paintings, or music, but it’s always something fueled by authentic and genuine life experiences.
My goal is to show you what I can of my world. It’s a whole lot easier for me to explain these things in images and symbols and tones than through normal means of communication. I know there are others like us out there. They may be hard to find, but they’re out there.
